Been here at least 4 times, coming here especially for the dahi puri but today I decided to try the samosa chat. Honestly it exceeded my expectations. Have never tasted samosa chat like this(the Chole curry in it is exceptionally delicious) comparing to other restaurants in Toronto. So much so that we ordered another plate as takeout.
Another good menu item is the chikoo milkshake which tastes just like the chikoo milkshake we used to make at home in mumbai
Good Indian lofi music in the background
Must try unlimited pain puri
Even the dahi puri is excellent

Manek Chowk offers a delightful culinary journey through the flavors of India. From the tangy burst of Pani Puri to the fiery kick of Cheese Schezwan Vadapav, every bite is a taste sensation. The Cheese Dabeli is a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, while the Manek Chowk Special Sandwich is a treat for the senses. Cold Coco and Mango Lassi provide refreshing accompaniments to the spicy street fare. Pav Bhaji is rich and flavorful, while the Gotala Dosa is a unique twist on a South Indian classic. The ambiance is bustling, adding to the charm of the experience. However, be prepared for long queues, as the popularity of Manek Chowk is undeniable. Overall, it's a must-visit for food enthusiasts and vibrant street food scene.

Manek Chowk in Scarborough is a true gem for street food lovers! Their menu boasts an authentic array of Indian flavors that will transport you straight to the bustling streets of India.
The star of the show is undoubtedly their pao bhaji. It's a flavor explosion in every bite. The papdi chat is another must-try, offering a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy. And let's not forget the crispy, addictive peri peri fries - a unique twist on a classic.
The paneer momos were fresh and flavorful, a delightful option for those craving something a bit lighter. And who can resist a cold coffee for just $1? It's a steal!
While the service might be a tad slow, the incredible taste of the food makes it worth the wait. If you're looking for a satisfying and authentic Indian street food experience, Manek Chowk is the place to be!

Absolutely loved the food. We ordered their Cheese Schezwan Vada Pav and Cheese Dabeli for dine-in and followed it up with a session at the Live Pani Puri counter. The Vada Pav was incredible - spicy and cheesy! The dabeli was delicious as well - not too sweet which was great. The bun for the dabeli could have been toasted better for a crispy touch.
Although the food preparation took slightly longer than usual, the wait was worth it. The staff was polite and service was friendly.
We also got their Biscuit Bhakri for takeout along with jamun shots (which we're yet to try).
The restaurant on its own was clean and well maintained, boasting cute interiors.

Nostalgic for home, I got the dahi puri and samosa chaat. A delicious explosion of flavors and textures, with a perfect balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and savory, both the dishes were visually appealing with the swirl of the chutneys vibrant on the yoghurt. Combined with a side of chorafali immediately reminded me of celebrating special occasions at home - after all, for Gujaratis, spicy chorafali are a staple for every celebration! Followed by the Manek Chowk special sandwich, which was a delicious combination of various vegetables topped with shredded cheese - truly the best way to eat bread! Washed down with a heavenly butterscotch milkshake and a sweet and sour jamun shot, this was truly a perfect meal that made me miss home a little less! Warmly recommended!

I recently visited Manek Chowk , and I must say I was blown away by the delicious flavors and authentic taste of the food! As someone who loves Indian cuisine, I was excited to try out this place and I was not disappointed.
The menu has a great variety of street foods, from samosas to chaat to vada pav and more. I particularly enjoyed the pav bhaji, which was bursting with flavor and had just the right amount of spice. The chole bhature was also fantastic, with soft and fluffy bhature and a tangy chole masala.
The service was excellent - the staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The shop was also very clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus.
Overall, I would highly recommend Manek Chowk to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian street food. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

We were interested in trying some Indian street food so dropped by this restaurant to try the vada pav and pav bhaji. The vada pav was a fried potato patty stuffed between a soft bun with spices. The pav bhaji were 2 soft buns with a side of chunky sauce/dip. Both dishes were extremely flavorful and vegetarian. They were both full of spice, but not overly spicy. There was enough sauce/dip in the pav bhaji for another meal or two in my opinion since it is very concentrated in flavor. Paying in cash gets a 5% discount and there seems to be daily specials. I'll be back to try some of their other sandwiches.

This place is very close to my office and an Indian street food which has a very good taste plus their staff is very friendly they always welcome you with smile. So I have tried a lot of this from them. Like pani puris they have different flavours of pani plus and a lot of varieties of chai flavour like Karak chai , Masala chai, Cardamom chai and Coffee which taste exactly like the chai and coffee which we used to get back in India. they have a separate stall for the pani puries We get have the same feeling which we used to get back at our country. I also tried dabeli and their special sandwich they were very yummy. Highly recommended.

Amazing Experience at Manek Chowk
We arrived at 2:15 AM, just 45 minutes before closing, after a 30-minute ride with a group of 7 people, and were delighted by the exceptional service. The staff warmly welcomed us and ensured we were served promptly, even so close to closing time.
They were polite, efficient, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a late-night outing. It was absolutely worth the trip, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

I have visited the place for the Biscuit Bhakhari but I have end up with Bhakhri Thepla Tea ColdCoco ChikuMilkshake. Everything was delicious and must try. The Chiku Milkshake is the most recommended one for the people who like Chiku fruit. Went for the second time and had Mango Milkshake and Jeera soda. MangoMS felt like a homemade MangoRas. It’s always a nice feeling to visit again and again. The staff members are so humble and kind and very welcoming. This place feels like a home when you are far from home. 💖

Manek Chowk Indian restaurant in Morningside, Toronto, is an absolute culinary delight!
We kicked off our experience with a Masala tea paired with Ahmedabad's renowned Ghughara sandwich, generously loaded with 'AMUL CHEESE,' instantly took us back home. The tea was perfectly balanced, showcasing their attention to detail, especially with sugar levels. The peri peri fries were a spicy revelation, boasting a rare flavor that's a gem in the area. And let's not forget the Manek Chowk Special sandwich – a hearty combination of veggies and flavorful dressings like chipotle, perfect for filling up even the hungriest of appetites. Plus, the ambiance is warm and welcoming, adding to the overall experience.
Oh, and did I mention they serve unlimited pani puris? A definite win for pani puri lovers! The staff's hospitality is top-notch, with speedy service and a friendly demeanor, making our visit truly memorable. Overall, Manek Chowk earns a solid 10/10 for its exceptional food, service, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

We have had one of the best Indian street food at this location. Chocolate pineapple sandwich and manekchowk special sandwich were amazing (although there's room for improvement by using less amount of cheese as because of more cheese, the original taste of manekchowk special sandwich was missing). Peri peri french fries was also great, and Burger was also delicious!!!
Vadapaav was not that much good, so there's something you guys can look into it.
Overall, it was great experience. Highly recommend for India street food lovers!!!

Those who have been to Manek Chowk knows that the taste is full of fusion dishes. This place lives up to the expectation that one may have from Manek Chowk. We ordered Papdi Chat and Vada Pav and I can assure that I have had similar taste in Delhi. Yes, the taste is so good that it breaches the boundaries of states in India. The service was fast, just like Manek Chowk, and the staff is very co-operative. After having my meal, I thanked all of them personally for making my day with such a delicious meal.

We had a fantastic experience at Manek Chowk! The ambience is vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to enjoy delicious food. We tried their Papdi Chaat, and it was absolutely delightful—crispy, flavorful, and well-balanced with spices and chutneys.
A special shoutout to Krunal and Prem for their excellent service! They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu. Highly recommended!

"If you're looking for authentic Indian street food in Canada, this spot is an absolute gem! The flavors take you right back to the streets of India—spicy, flavorful, and made with love. What makes the experience even better is Jeni. She’s an incredibly hardworking and passionate girl who goes above and beyond for every customer. Whether it’s samosas, chaat, or something sweet, her energy and dedication shine through in every bite. Big shoutout to Jeni for keeping the taste of home alive here!"

Y'all need to give this place a try. I went here last week to grab lunch with my family, everything I ordered was fresh, delicious and perfectly seasoned. I had noodles, samosas and many other dishes, but the one that sticked out the most were momos. The momos were so juicy and perfectly spicy. It was made mith a bunch of flavours combined into one, and you could taste and tell apart every single ingredients. I loved the restaurant and their food, so I also recommend you guys to give it a try.
~ Gurpreet S
Love the pani puri and 6 flavors of water. The taste on point. I am from Calcutta and I absolutely enjoyed the pani puri considering its close to what I was looking for. The other items are delicious too like Dabeli, Pav Bhaji. If you like coco - try their coco drink - it’s thick and chocolatey and very heavy though.
They are Ahmedabad based and purely vegetarian.
Wait time is high and due to limited seating it might be challenging to get a spot.
Ample parking space.

Manek Chowk is a culinary gem, offering a blend of Gujarati swaad and global flavors. Their pani puri and choda fadi are absolute must. The pani puri bursts with tangy mithaas, while the choda fadi delivers dhamaal.

Don’t know how to explain their authenticity. I had pani puri and vada pav and they were just 10/10.
The vada pav is a little Gujrati version. Not authentic Bombaiya vada pav but soooooo good. Perfect spice level, bun, vada, chutney and spicy green fried chilli.
Pani puri has like 5 different flavours. I enjoyed Hajma flavour the most. Perfectly spiced aloo masala and SUPER fresh.
The staff is v friendly and the owner is really sweet. Very accommodating.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

I recently visited Manek Chowk, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The cafe offers a unique delicacy called Ghughara sandwich that I had never tried before. It was a delightful blend of flavors and textures that left me craving for more. The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Manek Chowk for its delectable food and top-notch service.

One of the best places in Scarborough. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Food is very high quality and consistent throughout the multiple times I visited the place. Sandwiches in general are very delicious and taste the same as they did back home. Pani puri, maska bun, burgers and dhokla are all freshly made and taste amaziiiiiing!!!!!! The place is very clean and hygienic and kept well. Hats off to Nick and his team on an amazing start to a very delicious journey!

I was sceptical eating here as some other reviews mention that like a lot of restaurants they request positive reviews. The food was better than we expected. We were a group of 10 and we tried a lot of items. The best of the lot was Manek Chowk Sandwich and peri peri fries - would highly recommend. The only let down was vegetable Maggie. The food was freshly prepared , hot and served quickly even though the place got busy.
